Founded in 2026, Pivot K9 Training & Fitness was born from a passion of helping dogs, and their owners, reach their full potential. Karson first started her dog training journey in 2014 through a local 4-H club. Training and competing in Obedience, Agility and Drill Team. From there, Karson joined a local club and started raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) in 2017. Karson's love for service dogs and helping individuals through dogs, only blossomed from here. Throughout the years, Karson has trained in and competed in multiple dog sports including Agility, Dock Diving, Scent Detection, and Frisbee; as well as continuing to raise for GDB. Karson loves continuing her education and has attended multiple seminars, learned from local trainers and completed a mentorship program with Oliver Dog Training. Capturing and developing the love for the sports, and the team relationship between dog and owner, Karson started Pivot K9 Training and Fitness to help other individuals achieve the same.
Our name "Pivot" reflects our philosophy: success in dog training often requires the ability to adapt, change direction, and find new approaches. Every dog is unique, and we believe in creating customized training plans that meet each dog where they are and help them progress at their own pace.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of working with dogs and their families, from puppies learning their first commands to competition dogs perfecting their performance. Karson's commitment to science-based training methods, and ongoing education ensures that we're always providing the best possible service.
